Description:
The Frank Coggins Trail provides an access to three trails, two of
which are considered the most scenic trails in the Mountain Bridge
Wilderness Area. Starting across from Caesars Head State Park it
connects first with the Coldspring Connector, then ends at a
footbridge where it joins with the Rim of the Gap and Naturaland Trust
Trails. The Frank Coggins Trail is part of a popular short loop
combination known as the 15/14 Loop. You will start at Caesars Head
State Park, hike .8 mile on the Frank Coggins Trail and 1 mile on the Naturaland Trust
Trail (#14), then return to Caesars Head via US 276.

0.8 mile.
Directions:
From Greenville drive northwest on US 276 to Caesars Head State Park.
The trailhead is across US 276.
Camping:
Trailside
primitive camping is allowed on certain trails. Contact Caesars Head
or Jones Gap State Parks for details.
