From the back of the Visitor Center, begin this short, level, asphalt

walk through quiet woodlands and past open fields, watch for raccoons,
squirrels, snakes, turkeys, and a variety of other wildlife. You can
extend your walk on marked spur trails, or along the dirt road that
connects to the paved park road. The park road also includes
interpretive signs to guide visitors on a "driving tour" of
the historic site.
Restrooms are available at
the Visitor Center where you can learn more about the battlefield’s
