Seven Oaks Walking

Description: You can start from the upper
or lower parking area to access this flat, easy walking paved trail. Starting from the parking
area behind the recreation building, you will need to walk down the steps
to start the trail. Turn either right or left to make a circuit of the
perimeter of the park. You will pass soccer fields, pass through a shady
wooded area, and follow Kinley Creek for a short distance where you can
stop and just listen to the water and the birds. To extend your walk you
can cross over Kinley Creek on spur that connects with the Whitehall
Subdivision where you can walk on some quiet neighborhood streets.
Handicap access is from the lower parking area.
Length: Approximately 1.0 mile
depending on where you start.
Fees: No fee.
Directions: From Exit 104 of I-26 (Piney
Grove), drive south on Piney Grove for approximately 1.5 miles. Just
before the railroad tracks, turn left onto Leisure Lane and Seven Oaks
Park is on the left. You can park in back of the recreation center, or
continue past the park entrance to the next left and park in the lower
parking area.
Hours: Dawn to dusk
Camping: No camping.
