The South Carolina Park Service manages a piece of land off of highway 11 between Caesar’s Head and Jones Gap state parks called Wildcat Wayside. The short trail begins with a steep set of stairs climbing right beside a small, but beautiful, waterfall.

But when you reach the Chattooga River, you will turn left onto a heavily vegetated path and scramble around rocks and trees for the last half-mile hike to the base of the waterfall.
