Spartanburg’s premier outdoor concert and special events venue, the seven-acre Barnet Park plays host to dozens of events each year, from performances by national recording artists to family reunions and company picnics.

Located downtown adjacent to the Chapman Cultural Center and the George Dean Johnson Jr. College of Business and Economics, it contains the Zimmerli Amphitheater, which seats approximately 1,100 in the fixed seating area, with additional seating for up to 4,900 on the terraced lawn.

Barnet Park features include a 2-mile paved walking trail, interactive water fountain, 1,036-square-foot picnic pavilion, original sculptures "Exuberance" & "Circle of Friendship" and public restroom facilities.

Note: There are admission fees for certain concerts and events at Barnet Park and pets are not permitted.

Located in downtown Spartanburg, on the block bounded by East Saint John Street (US #29), North Converse Street, Silver Hill Street, Littlejohn Circle, and North Dean Street.
