The Bicycle Bypass is a short, multi-use, linear trail which bisects the State Park Loop Road, connecting the camping area and the tackle shop. You can walk or ride safely through this wooded area, avoiding the narrow paved loop road.

Directions:

From Chapin: Drive approximately 3.5 miles southwest on St. Peter’s Church Road (Lexington County S-32-29) and turn left onto Dreher Island Road (S-32-231). Drive 3.0 miles and turn left onto State Park Road (Newberry County S-36-571) and continue to Dreher Island State Park.
