Summary:
Caesar's Head State Park, located in Greenville County, provides stellar views of the impressive Blue Ridge Escarpment on the Overlook Trail.
The Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area has over fifty miles of hiking trails through the mountainous terrain, which are suitable for a wide range of abilities. From the Caesars Head State Park Visitor Center, follow the sidewalk towards the water tower where you will pass a series of bathrooms and picnic tables. On the left after about 100 feet you will see an "Overlook" sign. Follow that along a wooden walkway to view the stunning panoramic view of the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area, Appalachian Foothills, and the Upper Piedmont of South Carolina. Table Rock, Sassafras Mountain, Paris Mountain, and even a large rock outcropping—on the trail to Raven Cliff Falls—known as "The Cathedral" can be viewed from this scenic observation overlook.
Camping: Trail-side primitive camping is allowed on certain trails. Call 1-866-345-PARK (7275) or go online at www.SouthCarolinaParks.com to make your reservations today!
Hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., (daily during daylight saving time), 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (daily, the remainder of the year)
Trails close one hour before dark, year round. The Visitor Center and gift shop will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The park will however, remain open on these days.

A little walk and well worth the visit. Especially visit in the hawk migration season!
