Summary:
The Reedy River runs along the length of Cleveland Park, creating a picturesque setting for all of the recreational activities.
From the parking area, begin this paved, mostly-level, multi-purpose, fitness trail that winds through Cleveland Park along Richmond Creek and Reedy River. This in-city trail provides an excellent place for a lunch break walk or a family outing. For those who want more, fitness stations along the trail can provide extra exercise opportunities. From Cleveirvine Avenue, you will circle the baseball ball, basketball, and tennis activities area, passing beneath birch, oak, elm, and a variety of other trees on a hillside overlooking the park. You will skirt creeks, and cross foot bridges, until you reach McDaniel Avenue where you can loop back, or extend your walk at the connector trail that links to scenic Reedy River Falls Park, and the historic area of downtown Greenville.
Drinking fountains are located along the trail throughout the park. Insect repellant is recommended in warm weather. Pets are permitted on a leash.
Directions:From I-385, Exit 42 (Greenville Zoo exit): Turn left onto Laurens Road (US 276). Drive approximately one mile and turn right onto Washington Street. Turn left at Cleveland Park entrance. The trail can be accessed from any parking area within the park.
