Summary:
The Lockhart Flat Stack Trail is a public/private collaboration between Union County and Lockhart Power, with assistance from the South Carolina State Trails Program. The half-mile trail passes the Lockhart Mill site, and consists of a scenic walking path with recreational, educational and fitness activities.
The .6-mile Flat Stack Trail is located in the Town of Lockhart, which is in Union County, and features scenic views of the Broad River and historic Lockhart Canal. The paved Born Learning Trail loops around the former site of the Lockhart Mill (1894–1994) and offers fitness activities along the path. The Lockhart Flat Stack Trail is a walking trail to which all citizens will have access.
*Bikes, scooters, skateboards or rollerblades are prohibited.

Directions:The Flat Stack Trail is located where River Street meets the former Lockart Mill site in between the Broad River and Lockhart Canal.
