Summary:
An arched entryway stands at the corner of E. Poinsett and Cannon Streets, leading to an open promenade with decorative benches and streetlights. A short stroll leads to the majestic fountain—a centerpiece of the park for many who enjoy the fountain's waters dancing to music.
Part of the City of Greer's Municipal Complex that was completed in 2008, the 12-acre Greer City Park is located adjacent to Greer City Hall and offers numerous recreational opportunities in Historic Greer Station.
Greer City Park's walking trails have become a popular attraction for exercise enthusiasts. Walkers have the option of circling the entire park and mixing in mildly-challenging hills, adding the challenge of climbing the amphitheater steps to their routine, or simply choosing a fairly level route. Paved and lighted walkways make any of the options safe and secure.
