Harbison State Forest offers a number of interconnected multi-use trails. The Learning Trail at Harbison State Forest is an easy loop hike that starts at the Education Center and winds past some outdoor classrooms and a small vernal pond. It is marked with interpretive signs and surrounded by prescribed forest burns which are documented and described as part of the classroom setting. The hike can be extended by taking the Discovery and/or Crooked Pine Trails.

The Harbison State Forest trail system is maintained with the help of the Friends of Harbison State Forest.
Directions:From Exit 104 on I-26 northwest of Columbia: Drive east on Piney Grove Road to Broad River Road (US 176). Turn left and the entrance to Harbison State Forest is approximately one mile on the right. Go straight and turn right to park at the Education Center.
