The Town of Lyman's Rail Trail stretches for almost a half-mile from Lawrence Street to Spartanburg Road, and connects to the Town's amphitheater.
The Town of Lyman is so very proud to be a part of the Rails-to-Trails project and to have their very own rail trail. The Town of Lyman recently completed Phase One of their Rails-to-Trail project and it is approximately four tenths of a mile in length. The trail is located at Spartanburg Road and Community Street and runs parallel to Groce Road. They hope to complete two additional phases of the trail for a total of approximately 1.23 miles.
Lyman welcomes you to bring your pets to walk on the trail and it is complete with a pet waste station furnished with disposable sacks. As shown in the photos, there is a spot to stop off and relax on a shaded bench and the trail is perfect for cycling or strolling your little ones. The Town of Lyman Police Department patrols the trail regularly to ensure your safety as you enjoy this beautiful asset to the Town.
Hours: Dawn to dusk
Directions:The trail begins across the street from Lyman Park (the Town's amphitheater) where Spartanburg Road and Community Street meet.
