Summary:
The Town of Port Royal's Navy Heritage Park is a great park to take the kids for an afternoon picnic in the shade. The park offers a walking trail, skate park, playground, gazebo and picnic area.
Outside the Beaufort Naval Hospital Grounds lies Naval Heritage Park under the shade of beautiful Live Oaks Trees. The park is the setting for Port Royal’s popular Farmers’ Market, every Saturday morning. The only Skateboard Park North of the Board River is also located here along with a playground featuring a replica of a Spanish Galleon. The Park's features include a paved walking path, covered skate park, playground, gazebo and picnic area.
Note: Pets are not allowed in the playground area, however are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash.

Directions:Located off of Ribaut Road in front of the Naval Hospital. Look for the Spanish Galleon Playground! Parking lot is off of Pinckney Blvd.
