Summary:
North Lake is a fun loop to enjoy the scenery and rest for the ride back up the hill, no matter which trail out you choose.
You will need to walk or ride on the Kanuga or Pipsissewa Trails to get to North Lake. Once you are there you can enjoy the view as you circle the lake and then return the way you came, or vary your walk/ride by returning on one of the other trails. You may see deer, squirrels, birds, snakes, and a variety of other wildlife.
If you are riding a mountain bike, be aware of signs reading "Foot Traffic Only." No mountain bikes on Saturday.
Restrooms are available at the picnic shelters. Insect repellant is recommended in warm weather. Pets are permitted on a leash.
