Beaufort County's SC 170 path is an accessible multi-use trail that follows Okatie Highway. The 4.4-mile path offers scenic viewing of the natural wetlands, and also provides safety for walkers and cyclists. This paved trail is an integral part of the East Coast Greenway, which connects 15 states, and 3,000 miles of trails from Maine to Florida.

This bike path runs parallel to South Carolina Highway 170, where it is known as the Okatie Highway in Pritchardville until it turns into Robert Smalls Parkway in Port Royal.
