Summary:
The beautiful black waters of Swan Lake form the setting for the spectacular Iris Gardens. The paths are generally level, with a few gentle rises and small bridges, and are suitable for exercise walkers.
Starting from the parking area, explore gardens, ponds, creeks, and swampy wetland on easy-walking, level, interconnecting, sand and grass paths and boardwalks. You will see a variety of beautiful flowers, trees and foliage including irises, cypress trees, and sprawling oak. The area provides habitat for swans, ducks, heron, geese, turtles, snakes and a variety of other wildlife. You can also just rest and enjoy the view from benches, picnic areas, and gazebos.
Hours: 7:30 AM to Dusk, every day, except during the Iris Festival
