Summary:
The Town of Ninety Six once had a railroad running through its business district. Today, the roadbed has been converted into a trail for walking and bicycling.
From the cascading stone fountain near the old train depot in the center of town, or the ball park begin this level, concrete and sand, out-and-back hiking/biking rail-trail that parallels SC 34 and extends in either direction to the outskirts of town. Watch for traffic at intersections where the trail crosses side streets.
Pets are permitted on a leash.
