The Town of Pelion is often known for the annual Pelion Peanut Party. The quiet town also provides a small community park that features a playground, picnic shelter, restrooms and the Pelion Rail Trail.
This quiet community has produced and harvested peanuts for years—the Town of Pelion celebrates the Pelion Peanut Party every August. Also located within Pelion is a small community park that includes a playground, picnic shelter, restrooms, as well as a paved walking and biking trail built along an old railroad line.

Skateboards and motorized vehicles are prohibited on the Pelion Rail Trail.
Directions:From Lexington: Follow SC-6 East and SC-302 to Main Street in Pelion and turn Left. Then turn left onto Railroad Avenue and the park is immediately on the right.
