The Turtle Trail is easy and fun, and has a nice flow with little rollers. It starts and finishes with a ride through rhododendrons.
This short out-and-back, easy trail connects the campsite to Lake Placid and the Lake Placid Trail. As you follow the banks of the creek, you may see deer, squirrels, birds, snakes, and a variety of other wildlife.
If you are riding a mountain bike, be aware of signs reading "Foot Traffic Only." No mountain bikes on Saturday.
Restrooms are available at the picnic shelters. Insect repellant is recommended in warm weather. Pets are permitted on a leash.
