West Ashley Park is one of the largest—and diverse—parks located in Charleston. It is well maintained and offers a variety of sports facilities, as well as some nature trails and boardwalks through the surrounding wooded wetlands.
West Ashley Park is one of Charleston's largest recreational parks at 260 acres. The park offers four championship soccer fields, two playgrounds, 18-hole disk golf course, two lighted youth basketball courts, two lighted youth softball fields and nature trails for you to get away from it all. It has some scenic views onto waterways as well as a fishing area.

Directions:From I-26: Take I-526 West to exit #11B and go west on the Glen McConnell Parkway for 3.3 kilometers (about two miles), then turn right onto Mary Ader Avenue, which leads into the park.
