David Jackson Park is named after the Scotsman who settled on the property, built a farm, and also served the office of Justice of Quorum (Magistrate). His grave still sits on the knoll as the focal point of the park. The park offers baseball fields, a playground, restrooms, as well as a scenic, paved, walking path.
