SC Trails

Foster Creek is a tidal creek at the extreme southern end of the Back River section of the Cooper River. It is accessed from the freshwater side of the Bushy Park Landing and is located just over one-half of a mile north of the landing on the left bank.

If you travel this trail you will find yourself in the beautiful bounty of historical, cultural, and natural resources that make Croft State Park. 

A large, attractive pond fills this park in Union, SC, which attracts plenty of ducks and geese. In addition to the walking path around the pond, a short nature trail leads off into the woods across the street.

Fourteen Mile Creek has 10-foot wide pathways with bridges, designated areas for pets, places to sit and an outdoor classroom.

Frank Coggins Trail is a loop or lollipop formation and is a very pleasant walk, with very little elevation change.

A mainly surfaced 0.7 mile trail circles the large ball field complex, but if you walk the perimeter of the park you will come to a dirt and grass loop that circles a pond and passes wetland woods.

Friarsgate Park provides many different types of recreation leisure activities, including, athletic fields, a gymasium, a playground, as well as a double-looped walking path. The park has other various recreational amenities, also.

The Friedheim Trail is a short, level, paved, foot-traffic-only loop through a neighborhood park.

Located next to the Gadsden Park Community Center, this trail is a easy walking loop that encircles the playground, ball fields and tennis courts.

The Garden of the Waxhaws Trail is a nice and easy-to-follow loop trail that provides fishing access and scenic views of the lake within Andrew Jackson State Park.
